Delivered by TESSA UN Ltd • In person & online • Foundational learning to professional development
TESSA Sound Academy offers professional development in Sound Awareness, responsive practice and practical approaches to working with sound.
Learners are encouraged to explore the relationship between sound, listening, wellbeing and environment while developing confidence in the use of sound-based tools, instruments and approaches within a range of settings.
The focus is on sensitivity, ethical responsibility and understanding how sound is perceived, played and responded to across different contexts and environments.
Sound is approached as a relational and embodied practice, with playing guided by listening, awareness, pacing and context rather than performance alone.
Training pathways range from introductory CPD and self-directed learning through to practitioner diploma-level study, delivered through a combination of distance learning, online, in-person and supported mentoring pathways.
